Anupria Goenka, known for her roles in ‘Padmaavat’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘, and ‘War 2′, has also spoken out about feeling “violated” during intimate scenes, highlighting the crucial role these coordinators play in safeguarding actors’ well-being.
The Incident
During a conversation with Siddharth Kannan on YouTube, she shared her experiences of discomfort while filming intimate scenes. In one instance, her co-star’s excitement made her feel uneasy. In another, she felt inappropriate contact when her co-star placed his hands lower than necessary instead of supporting her at the waist.
The actress mentioned that she subtly adjusted her co-star’s hands to the waist and instructed him to hold there instead. Though she felt uncomfortable, she hesitated to question his actions, knowing he might dismiss it as a mistake. She also noted that on-screen kisses can be tender, but some actors approach them too aggressively.
