Court frames charges against Gogi gang members in extortion case | Delhi News – The Times of India

New Delhi: A Delhi court has framed charges against five alleged associates of the Gogi gang in a Rs 5-crore extortion case. An FIR was registered against the accused — Yogesh alias Tunda, Ankesh Lakra, Aakash, Ramnivas and Aman — at Nangloi police station last year. In an order dated April 8, judicial magistrate first class Akanksha said prima facie, there were “sufficient grounds” to frame charges against all five accused under sections 308(4) (extortion), 125 (endangering life of others), 238 (disappearance of evidence), 61(2) (criminal conspiracy) and 3(5) (common intention) of BNS. The judge also ordered framing of charges against Aakash, Ramnivas and Aman under sections 25/27 of Arms Act. tnn
