
New Delhi: The woman who allegedly attempted suicidealong with her husband and two children inside their horn manufacturing unit two days ago died on Tuesday night. The businessman and the teenage children died earlier after allegedly consuming poison at Sangam Park in northwest Delhi’s Bharat Nagar on Monday.Harpreet Kaur, who stayed with her family in Nangloi, succumbed to injuries between 11pm and 12am. “We will seek legal opinion for further investigation since all four people at the spot have died. We are also awaiting the postmortem report,” police said on Wednesday.Police received a PCR alert around 9am on Monday. According to an officer, Hardeep Singh and his family arrived at the industrial shed around 8am. The 16-year-old boy, despite his deteriorating condition, managed to contact a relative before losing consciousness.The relative alerted police, who took the family members to a hospital. The children, studying in classes VIII and IX at well-known schools, died soon while the parents fought for their lives. Kaur herself mentioned severe business losses andfinancial difficulties to police. However, Singh’s 75-year-old father denied financial struggles. The family lived in Mahendru Enclave in Model Town before moving to Chander Vihar in Nangloi, police said.
