Delhi airport and Agra get new bus link | Delhi News – The Times of India

New Delhi: A bus service has been started between Agra and IGI Airport, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) said on Monday. The bus will depart from the airport at 11 am and 11 pm, while it will depart from Agra at 5 am and 5 pm daily.
DIAL said the twice-daily bus service has been introduced in collaboration with a private bus operator. “The bus features spacious, reclining seats with generous legroom, washrooms, onboard Wi-Fi, charging ports, and personal entertainment systems with headphones,” said DIAL.
Passengers can book tickets both online and offline. An official said that each seat is priced at Rs 1500, including food.
Videh Kumar Jaipuriar, CEO of DIAL, said, “At DIAL, we continually strive to enhance connectivity and provide innovative solutions that make travel more enjoyable. By offering this seamless connection between two of India’s most significant destinations, we are addressing a crucial need for both domestic and international travellers.” Depending on the success of the bus service to and from Agra, DIAL may consider beginning a similar bus service for nearby cities, said an official.
