Delhi businessman kills wife, dumps body in drain | Delhi News – The Times of India

NEW DELHI: A 47-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband, a property dealer and his security guard in the Chhawla area of Dwarka, police said.
The victim, identified as Seema Singh, was reported missing, and her body was discovered in a drain on March 15. However, it remained unidentified for 15 days until investigators traced her identity through a nose pin she was wearing.
Police contacted the jewellery showroom where the nose pin had been purchased and obtained the buyer’s contact details. This led them to her husband, who initially misled the investigators by claiming that Seema was in Vrindavan.
Further investigation revealed inconsistencies in his statements. Eventually, the husband confessed to murdering his wife with the help of his security guard. Police said the couple had a strained relationship, which is believed to have been the motive behind the crime.
Both the husband and the guard have been arrested.
