Delhi Hit-and-Run: Pedestrian Critically Injured in Reckless Driving Incident Involving Possible Underage Driver | Delhi News – The Times of India

NEW DELHI: A man was critically injured after being hit by a car in a hit-and-run case on Monday at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg in Central Delhi.
The impact was so severe that the pedestrian was flung into the air. Police apprehended a boy and are currently determining his age.
An accident was reported on Monday around 10.20pm on BSZ Marg, involving a 45-year-old man who was injured by a car driven recklessly. Both the car and the driver were apprehended, and a case was registered.
Police are currently verifying the driver’s age, and it is suspected that he may be underage. “If confirmed, action will be taken against the father, who is the registered owner of the vehicle,” police said.
A senior police officer said the victim was receiving treatment and he runs a juice shop.
