Ibrahim Ali Khan who made his debut with Nadaaniyan, proved his resilience and dedication on set when he suffered an unexpected back spasm right before filming his first body shot. His trainer, Haddin Sisodia, shared the details of the incident, revealing just how challenging the moment was for the young actor.
According to Sisodia, Ibrahim was already undergoing strict physical conditioning for the role, including salt and water cuts to enhance his on-screen look. However, just as they were entering the hall for the shoot, Ibrahim was struck with a severe back spasm. The pain was so intense that he couldn’t even stand up and had to lie down for a long time.
The sudden setback caused concern among the production team, with discussions about delaying the shoot for a couple of hours. His trainer, who was supposed to guide him through a pre-shoot workout, ultimately had to forgo the session.
“In that sense, he’s a fighter. He’s very hardworking,” Sisodia praised Ibrahim’s sheer willpower and commitment to his craft.
Robin Behl, Ibrahim’s head trainer, also weighed in on the incident, emphasizing the actor’s sheer perseverance. “At that point, you couldn’t do nothing,” he admitted. “So in fact, all of that you saw on your screen was without any accentuation.” Behl also shared how he received messages from Ibrahim and the director Shauna Gautam stating that how they loved the look on the screen
Ibrhaim is now gearing up for his next release Sarzameen which will see him sharing screen space with Kajol and Prithviraj. The film has been directed by Kayoze Irani- actor Boman Irani’s son. He also has Dinesh Vijan and Kunal Deshmukh’s Diler in the pipeline with south sensation Sreeleela.
