Now, she is removing the matching tattoo she got with him.
Samantha’s eagle-eyed fans recently noticed the fading tattoo on her wrist in a series of photos she shared on social media. The tattoo, featuring two arrows, was a symbol of the bond she once shared with Naga Chaitanya, who has the same design in the exact location on his wrist. The images sparked discussions online, with netizens commenting on her decision to erase the ink.
One user wrote, “Good riddance! NEVER get a partner’s name tattooed. You never know when a relationship will end, and it’s painful to remove.” Another fan recalled a similar situation, stating, “At least Chay and Sam were married, but Deepika got a tattoo just a year into dating and kept it for a long time after.” Others expressed their support for Samantha, with one user commenting, “Hope she gets back to her happy self.”
Earlier, Samantha had indirectly expressed regret over getting permanent tattoos to symbolize her love. In 2022, when asked by a fan about tattoo recommendations, she bluntly replied, “You know the one thing I’d tell my younger self? Never ever get a tattoo. Never. Never ever. Ever, get a tattoo.”
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya has moved on in his personal life and tied the knot with actress Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024, in a traditional Telugu wedding at Annapurna Studios, a venue with deep ties to his family legacy. The couple, who began dating in 2022, got engaged in an intimate ceremony on August 8, 2024.
