New Delhi: To make the journey of Namo Bharat commuters more convenient, a new feature ‘Journey Planner’ has been introduced in Namo Bharat App. With this feature, commuters can now plan their entire journey across Namo Bharat and Metro network, choose the most easy and convenient travel route options and complete booking with seamless payment using a single digital platform.
“With this feature, commuters can plan their end-to-end journey on the Namo Bharat app itself. This feature suggests smart routes for travel between one station and another. Commuters can get information about the fastest and most efficient route, as well as see estimated travel time and suggested interchanges. This includes Namo Bharat, Delhi Metro, and First and Last Mile options,” said an official of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation, which is executing the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor.
It also has the facility to book tickets for both Namo Bharat and Metro simultaneously on a single platform. “This will save commuters the inconvenience of booking tickets separately by going to two different apps,” said an official. TNN
