Labourer (25) electrocuted in Mangolpuri | Delhi News – The Times of India

New Delhi: A 25-year-old labourer lost his life due to an electric shock while working at a residence in west Delhi’s Mangolpuri on Sunday.
The incident sparked outrage among fellow workers, who took to the streets in protest, demanding accountability and better safety measures.
The deceased was identified as Anuj Kumar from Bihar.
According to police, a report was received from a hospital regarding Anuj being brought in dead following the electric shock in a house at Mangolpuri.
A crime team was dispatched to inspect the scene and document evidence.
“An eyewitness, identified as Joginder, confirmed that the tragedy resulted from negligence on the part of the house owner, who failed to implement proper safety precautions. In response, legal action has been initiated against the responsible party,” a senior police officer said. Further investigation is underway.
