
LUCKNOW: A passenger was found dead aboard Air India flight AI2845 after it landed at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow at 8.10am on Friday. The flight had arrived from New Delhi.
According to a fellow passenger, the victim, identified as Asif Ulha Ansari, did not respond when a stewardess approached him to clear his food plate and drinks.
A group of doctors seated near Ansari checked him and confirmed he had no pulse.
“The victim had not even unbuckled his seatbelt nor touched his food plate,” said one of the passengers who was on the flight.
“This morning, a male passenger, who was unwell arrived at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, Lucknow. Our medical team responded immediately, providing first aid before transporting him to the hospital in an Advanced Life Support ambulance. We are deeply saddened to learn that he later passed away. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family during this difficult time,” said CCSI Airport spokesperson.
The circumstances surrounding Ansari’s death remain unclear, and authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
