Sunny Deol is back in action with his new film ‘Jaat’, which was released in cinemas today. Packed with full-on drama and desi action, it’s already getting lots of love from fans. And to make things even better, Salman Khan gave a big shoutout to Sunny and the film on social media—showing once again that Bollywood bromance is alive and kicking!
Salman’s Instagram shoutout
Bollywood’s Bhaijaan showed his support for Sunny by sharing a fun video on his Instagram stories. In it, Sunny is seen eating on a flight, dancing and promoting his film with full energy. It’s a light moment that fans really enjoyed.
This kind gesture from Salman didn’t go unnoticed. In fact, during an interview with Bollywood Bubble, he talked about how he often promotes other actors’ films even though others don’t always do the same for him. He had said, “Maybe they think that I don’t need their support.” He quickly added, “But everyone needs support, including me.”
Sunny Deol on support in the industry
In his chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sunny shared his thoughts about support in the film world. He said that everyone has their own way of doing things. It’s natural to want appreciation and for things to go well, but not everything needs to be spoken about openly.
He also spoke highly of Salman, adding, that Salman has always been supportive. “I think most actors who know him are supportive of him as well. Life is about mutual respect and support.” Sunny believes that while small misunderstandings happen, people in the industry do care for each other deep down.
A starry night before the release
Before hitting the big screen, ‘Jaat’ had a special screening in Mumbai on Wednesday, 8 April. The event was packed with stars. Dharmendra, Randeep Hooda and Urvashi Rautela lit up the evening—especially when they danced together and brought smiles all around.
The film, directed by Gopichand Malineni, stars Sunny Deol in the lead role and also features Randeep Hooda, Viineet Kumar Singh, and Regina Cassandra. Set in rural India, ‘Jaat’ is all about identity, justice and standing strong.
