Suspecting relationship with sister, 16-yr-old boy stabs man in northwest Delhi | Delhi News – The Times of India

New Delhi: A man was critically injured after being stabbed by three boys in northwest Delhi’s Samaypur Badli. The incident, which occurred in broad daylight, was captured on CCTV. The footage shows the attackers repeatedly stabbing the victim, with some bystanders passively observing the scene. The injured man managed to escape the scene, and shortly after, the attackers fled as well. According to police, the victim was allegedly in a relationship with the sister of one of the boys.
Police received information around 4 pm that a man had been stabbed near a pizza shop in Veer Bazaar. Upon arriving at the scene, they found that the injured man—who intitially escaped, returned to the spot once the attackers fled—and had already been taken to the hospital. During the investigation, it was revealed that a juvenile, along with two associates, had attacked the man at his shop and stabbed him with a knife. A case of attempted murder has been registered.
According to police, the victim was allegedly in a relationship with the sister of one of the accused, who works in Shalimar Bagh. Her two brothers opposed the relationship. A few months ago, the elder brother instructed the victim to distance himself from his sister, said police. On Tuesday, the younger brother, a 16-year-old, along with two associates, attacked the man and stabbed him, said police, adding, the victim, who works at a builder’s office in Badarpur, Delhi, sustained injuries to his stomach. Police said the attackers have been identified, and teams have been formed to apprehend them.
