Van driver arrested for molesting minor – The Times of India

New Delhi: A five-year-old girl was allegedly molested by a van driver. The accused was apprehended later. The incident came to light on April 3 when the minor informed her parents about the traumatic experience. A police officer said that the suspect used to drop children to a school in his van and even return to pick them up. “Our investigation is ongoing, and the authorities are working to gather more information about the incident. Based on the girl’s information, the driver was apprehended,” the officer added. In Feb this year, a Class II student was allegedly sexually assaulted by a sanitation worker at a school in west Delhi. Last year, in Aug, a five-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted on a bus in south Delhi. tnn
