Wall collapse: 67-year-old man dead, two injured in separate incidents | Delhi News – The Times of India

A 67-year-old man lost his life, and another person was injured when a wall on the sixth floor of a house collapsed in east Delhi’s Madhu Vihar on Friday. In a separate incident, a 13-year-old boy was injured after a wall collapsed in central Delhi’s Karol Bagh. Police attributed the wall collapse to strong winds. Police received a PCR call regarding the wall collapse in the Chander Vihar area. Upon reaching the spot, police found that the wall had collapsed due to strong winds and two people were severely injured. They were rushed to LBS Hospital. One of the victims, identified as Chander Pal, was declared brought dead on arrival at the hospital. The other injured, identified as 38-year-old Rajbir Meerna, is currently undergoing treatment. In another incident, a 13-year-old boy was injured when a wall collapsed in Karol Bagh at 6.51 pm, police said. Delhi Fire Department received five calls regarding house collapses and 18 calls about fallen trees on Friday. TNN
