ED summons Lalu Prasad, kin in land-for-jobs case on Wednesday | Delhi News – The Times of India

NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate has summoned RJD president and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad, 76, for questioning in the land-for-jobs money laundering case on March 19 in Patna, according to official sources.
Family members of the former chief minister have also been called for questioning, with their statements to be recorded under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
Sources indicate that neither Prasad nor his family members are expected to appear before the agency.
The ED had previously filed a chargesheet in this case against Lalu Prasad’s family members before a Delhi court last year. The chargesheet named his wife Rabri Devi and their daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav as accused, along with others.
