‘The Diplomat’ box office collection day 15: The John Abraham starrer misses Rs. 30 crore mark amid competition from ‘L2 Empuraan’ and ‘Chhaava’ | – The Times of India

John Abraham’s latest release ‘The Diplomat’ has entered into third week. Bringing the real-life account on reel, it follows the story of an Indian girl who gets trapped in Pakistan and seeks the help of an Indian Government official for her rescue. John Abraham, as the protagonist, has been able to garner immense love and appreciation from critics and audiences alike. The actor feels people are taking notice of him once again, owing to his work in the latest release.

The Diplomat earns Rs. 0.75 crore on 3rd Friday

According to the Sacnilk report, the movie opened with Rs 4 crore and maintained steady business, earning Rs 19.15 crore in its first week. In the second week, the film performed well over the weekend but struggled to maintain momentum on weekdays. The second week’s collection stands at Rs 9.95 crore. On Friday, marking day 15 at the box office, the movie minted Rs 0.75 crore. With these numbers, the total collection of the movie after a 15-day run at the theatre stands at Rs. 29.85 crore.

On Sunday, Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ will be released, which will change the box office dynamics even further.
