US War Plan Leak | Pete Hegseth Says ‘No War Plans’ Were Revealed In Signal Chat

Secretary of Defence, Pete Hegseth, told reporters Wednesday in Hawaii that he did not reveal “war plans” in a recently released Signal chat among senior national security officials that ended up in the hands of Atlantic Editor-in-Chief Jeffrey Goldberg. “There’s no units, no locations, no routes, no flight paths, no sources, no methods, no classified information,” said Hegseth. In the group chat, Hegseth posted multiple details about the impending strike, using military language and laying out when a “strike window” starts, where a “target terrorist” was located, the time elements around the attack and when various weapons and aircraft would be used in the strike. He mentioned that the U.S. was “currently clean” on operational security.”
