When Shoaib Malik’s sister didn’t attend his second wedding with Sana Javed; revealed, ‘Sania Mirza was tired of his affairs’ | – The Times of India

Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza have been in the news since 2022 due to marital troubles. Shoaib’s nikah photos shocked many, while Sania’s family clarified it was a Khula (wife-initiated divorce). Now, Shoaib’s sisters have come forward, sharing surprising details about their marriage.
Shoaib’s sisters hinted at the reason behind his divorce from Sania Mirza. As per The Pakistan Daily, they expressed concern over his separation and confirmed that the family didn’t attend his nikah. The report also mentioned that Sania was unhappy with Shoaib’s alleged extramarital affairs.

Sania and her family remained silent about her divorce for a long time. However, after Shoaib Malik married Sana Javed, they addressed the separation for the first time. On January 21, 2024, Sania’s sister, Anam Mirza, shared a note on Instagram, stating that Sania had separated from Shoaib months ago and wished him well. She emphasized Sania’s preference for privacy and requested respect during this sensitive time.

Earlier, Sania Mirza’s father, Imran Mirza, confirmed to PTI that she had taken a khula from Shoaib Malik. In Islam, khula is a form of divorce initiated by the wife, granting her the right to seek separation. Unlike talaq, which is given by the husband, khula ensures equal rights in divorce.
Reports about Shoaib Malik and Sana Javed’s relationship had been circulating for a while. Speculation grew stronger after Shoaib wished Sana on her birthday, calling her a “buddy.” On January 20, 2024, he confirmed the news by sharing nikah pictures on Instagram, captioned: “Alhamdulillah ‘And We created you in pairs’.”
